How the concrete calculator works
Concrete volume is length times width times thickness. Thickness is converted from inches to feet, then cubic feet are divided by 27 to get cubic yards. The calculator adds your waste factor and rounds bag counts up because suppliers do not sell partial bags.

Typical waste
